Flight to NY quick
Mom needed me, now back home
Feel much better now

Went to NY and didn't go into one yarn shop, looked in the window of one that was closed, there were other things on my mind.
Well my PDTril is coming along but had to unravel the top, it wasn’t coming out as flat as I wanted it. I’ll try picking up the stitches from a different place (sigh).

Hat and Bag crocheted
Two things I finished, hooray!
Tomorrow knitting

I finished, I finished and I'm so happy at the outcome. (Whistle, whistle, whissstle) Oh happy day.
Well I finished my go at coming back to crochet and it is a good feeling. I was supposed to do the bag and then get back to knitting but I was so urged on by the success of my bag that I went on to do the hat. Wow!

Well bag and hat are finished at last. Next a knitted hat coming up just as soon as I get a little circular disk practice.

Whistle, whistle, la, la, la, la, la...

Teaching self crochet
W I P not too bad
I'll have a bag soon!

I'm looking forward to finishing up my bag so I can get back to my hats. I like crochet the process is faster but I must say that I prefer knitting.

This won't be my last crochet project that's for sure.

Well, back to my bag.

The clouds have come over dark and fast.
The winds blow as if in a gigantic hollow tube.
My words for help are not to be heard.
Once again I wait till confusion release its grip on my mind.

At the crossroads and still undecided.

...just waiting to be picked up as the sun removes more and more of the blue sky and disintgrate the last of this beachy edge on which I have come to depend.

It was just a game

A winner I was most times

Now I win always

- Ring Toss Hat

I was in the mood to create a hat but things got out of control when the hat decided it wanted to become a purse.

Somtimes I have no say in what is to be created.

KnitSkoida...

This is one of my designs. I love hats, have always loved hats but have rarely found something that suited me. Once I find a hat I like I wear it till I can't wear it anymore. It's the same with jumpers. At the moment I'm wearing a sweater that's literally coming apart but until I finish the jacket I'm knitting...

Roll on warm weather

The Greene-Williams Sisters

I’ve always wanted to create and have been doing so for most of my life in between jobs that took up most of my time. I am a craftsperson; there I've said it. I've allowed myself not to have confidence enough to just get on with it. Well I am not going to making excuses anymore and do just that, get on with it and I’m going to get my sister Laina to get on with it also.

Our younger sister Z has been getting on with it all of her life and is still going strong. I will be taking a leaf out of her book. Thanks Z.

I want to thank our older sister Cookie (Lydia) who got me started all those years ago when she crocheted tams for herself and her friends. She was a creative genius. I'll be thanking you forever Cookie.

My husband Michael who really set me going by starting up a blog and showed me what I have kept thinking of doing. He started his blog on Wednesday 15 March 2006 and in less than a week it's taken off and he's taken over the computer, so I'm also trying to claim back some territory as well as Getting On With It. Ta Mick.

We have creativity coming out of ears and oozing through the pores of our skin. It's an endless well that’s always overflowing that (speaking for myself and for Laina) we can't keep up.

It's time to do something about it, so here I go. I invite you Laina and Z, my wonderful sisters to join me whenever and how often you like, and don't think that I not asking you also Kira, Mani and Omari (my nieces and nephew), and Mommy, my true heart, who stood up and for us and still does, I thank you most for having us and I will teach you to use the computer (smile), this will be our outlet for creating and showing!

Now Get On With It!
